Welcome back to the start of the Summer term, which promises
to be a very busy one.
A list of dates is printed on the reverse of this letter.
Please pin these up on your calendar.
A very special thank you to Year 5 for all the hard work
that went into writing and practising for their very moving
portrayal of the Easter story at our end of term service.
LENT APPEAL
We are very proud of all our children for their hard work to
support the Lent Appeal. The total raised currently stands
at £885 with some Sponsored Read money still coming in.
Thank you also for your support!
KS1 WORK
Our refurbishment work has now well and truly started.
Reception and Year 1 have settled into their Portacabins and
arrangements for the start and end of the school day are
working well so far. As stated in the letter yesterday, we
will let you know of any further changes as soon as they are
made.
SUMMER UNIFORM
Children may wear summer uniform from now on, but should
all be wearing it after half term.
All shoes or sandals must be black or navy, no
trainers, and hair ornaments red or navy.
Coats or jackets must be plain navy blue.
Please check your ‘Welcome Back to School’ booklets for
further details.
There are a number of summer shirts and dresses on the PTA’s
used uniform rail – all items are for sale at £1 each
PTA NEWS

Saturday 22nd May. Please talk to you class rep

VOUCHERS
We are still collecting Sainsbury’s vouchers for sports
equipment. The collection point is just outside my
office for both of these. Every single one helps and we
are very grateful for your continued support.
SUMMER SEEDS
All children will soon receive seeds to plant and grow
in time for the summer competition. Perhaps our display
will match the lovely Dig It display of tulips!
OTHER NEWS
Very well done to Amelie in Reception for winning first
prize of a £30 book token in Marsh and Parson’s ‘Draw
Your Dream House’ competition. Congratulations also to
the runners up, Lily in Y4 and Olivia in Y5, each
winning £10 book tokens.
Now that our skies are busy with planes again we look
forward to the safe return of Mrs O’Toole, Mrs Lilly,
Christelle. Year 4 TA, Jessica, is reported to be aboard
a navy vessel!
